Pot, kettle, kettle, pot.

Although I plan on ranting a bit more on the disgusting display of racially divisive politics we have seen since the Barack/Biden ticket began to gain in the polls, I wanted to vent just a bit more on Sarah’s hypocrisy while making the intentionally divisive comments.

“Our opponent … is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country”

Funny, considering her own husband is someone who sees America as being so imperfect that he was a card carrying member of the Alaska Independence Party and wanted to secede from the Country altogether. And Sara herself sees America as being so imperfect that she recorded a “Keep up the good work!” message for the same Party’s 2008 convention.

Amazing how the “liberal media” is still refusing to share this information with the voting public. The connection is factual, and the legwork has already been done. Why isn’t Sarah being held accountable for this?

Luckily, there are a few mouthpieces for the truth over at MSNBC (Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow) But they are, naturally, viewed as “preaching to the choir”. I have seen the story pick up some momentum online though, and that is a good thing. Here are a couple of really great articles written by David Talbot:

Max Blumenthal:

and the one and only mudflats take on the whole insane mess:

And her is a video of Rachel Maddow interviewing Blumenthal regarding his investigation:

What gets me is the hypocrisy as seen here, in an article from Politico:

“Barack Obama hasn’t told the American people the total truth about that, about his association with Ayers,” Palin said on conservative radio host Laura Ingraham’s show. “Doggonit, he fails to tell the American people with candor and with truthfulness what his associations are and we have to know.”

Palin blamed the media for not providing what she characterized as the same level of scrutiny to Obama that it has applied to her and running mate John McCain.

“I don’t see the other ticket being asked to be truthful and give details,” Palin said.

Well, Barack explained it once again for Sarah, during an interview with Charles Gibson:

“I’ll repeat again what I’ve said many times. This is a guy who engaged in some despicable acts 40 years ago when I was eight years old. By the time I met him, 10 or 15 years ago, he was a college professor of education at the University of Illinois,” Obama said.

“The notion that somehow he has been involved in my campaign, that he is an adviser of mine, that . . . I’ve ‘palled around with a terrorist’, all these statements are made simply to try to score cheap political points.”

And today, the man who PROSECUTED the Weathermen questioned the validity of the “connection”.

As the lead federal prosecutor of the Weathermen in the 1970s (I was then chief of the criminal division in the Eastern District of Michigan and took over the Weathermen prosecution in 1972), I am amazed and outraged that Senator Barack Obama is being linked to William Ayers’s terrorist activities 40 years ago when Mr. Obama was, as he has noted, just a child.

Although I dearly wanted to obtain convictions against all the Weathermen, including Bill Ayers, I am very pleased to learn that he has become a responsible citizen.

Because Senator Obama recently served on a board of a charitable organization with Mr. Ayers cannot possibly link the senator to acts perpetrated by Mr. Ayers so many years ago.

I do take issue with the statement in your news article that the Weathermen indictment was dismissed because of “prosecutorial misconduct.” It was dismissed because of illegal activities, including wiretaps, break-ins and mail interceptions, initiated by John N. Mitchell, attorney general at that time, and W. Mark Felt, an F.B.I. assistant director.

And furthermore, Sarah has done anything BUT be truthful and give details. Did ANYONE forget about Troopergate, and how she (and her dusty old running mate John) has done everything she can to get the investigation thrown out or at least delayed until after the election?

Problem is, although she is CLAIMING to have had to answer tough questions, she really has not had to answer a single question about her OWN questionable ethics and acquaintances.  It is a great injustice to the voting public in my honest opinion.

Barack’s calm hand has amazed me, but he warned his supporters about the campaign going dirty way back on July 30th, (video below) so I have to trust that he knows how to handle this, or at least he knows how he is going to deal with it.
